The name Zeitungsgruppe Stuttgart (Stuttgart Newspaper Group) has been synonymous with quality journalism and innovative newspaper technology for decades. Above the Zeitungsgruppe Stuttgart is the Medienholding Süd with its head office in Stuttgart. Stuttgarter Zeitung
The Stuttgarter Zeitung is one of the largest regional newspapers in the German-speaking areas with quality standards of national status. In its reporting it follows the tradition of Swabian liberalism, characterised by tolerance and openness. Its daily efforts to report the truth critically has earned the Stuttgarter Zeitung the reputation of being the voice of the Southwest. Stuttgarter Nachrichten
The Stuttgarter Nachrichten is one of Germany’s major city and regional newspapers. It is a lively quality newspaper. Close to daily events, close to the reader, that is how it sees itself. The Stuttgarter Nachrichten serves as information provider for many local newspapers in Baden-Wuerttemberg, thus providing the backbone of important daily news items. The Stuttgarter Nachrichten also supplies content of national import beyond the boundaries of Baden-Wuerttemberg. In all, together with its partner newspapers, the Stuttgarter Nachrichten achieves a circulation of approx. 540,000 copies, thus ranking as one of Germany's largest journalistic bodies.
Sonntag Aktuell
Sonntag Aktuell is the seventh edition of the two major Stuttgart dailies as well as of 44 other newspapers throughout the southwest German area. Overall, Sonntag Aktuell sells around 880,000 copies, making it Germany's second-largest Sunday newspaper.
Schwarzwälder Bote
With daily sales topping 130,000 copies (incl. partner newspapers), the Schwarzwälder Bote is one of the major regional dailies in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The unusually dense news network in the German newspaper landscape, consisting of 19 branch offices and 21 local offices reflect the newspaper’s mission to provide both extensive national reporting and detailed discussions of local topics. Aside from the daily newspaper with 18 local editions, the newspaper also publishes various journals for spa visitors and tourists and advertising journals.
Stuttgarter Wochenblatt
The Stuttgarter Wochenblatt is one of Germany’s most eminent advertising journals. It is published in 14 local editions with a circulation of more than 360,000 copies. This gives it the greatest household coverage in Stuttgart, the Filder area and Gerlingen. Current local reporting and extensive service information form the editorial framework for the advertisements.
Stuttgarter Zeitung Anzeigengemeinschaft
Anyone hoping to score with discerning readers and potential customers must serve them with attractive offerings in an appealing setting. It is also responsible for all reader market and marketing activities of the Stuttgarter Zeitung and Stuttgarter Nachrichten.
