Wind power for a sustainable future
Windreich AG stands for the efficient commercial use of wind power. With its project planning, implementation, technical and commercial operations and sale of on- and offshore wind turbines, the company group ranks as one of the pioneers in renewable energies. The founder and chairman of the board, Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. (FH) Willi Balz, realised early on that aside from mainland wind farm development (onshore), the future of generating green power from wind power lies at sea (offshore). In 2009 all of the group’s wind power activities were bundled under the umbrella of the Windreich AG so as to keep pace with the imminent growth and the huge effort it involved. Willi Balz has been proving for the past 30 years that his ideas can be put into commercial practice. He consistently achieves his visions. At the same time, all activities are harmonised with the climate protection goals of the German government and also those of the European Union. The latter aims to considerably increase the share of renewable energies by 2020.
